The past few months have been fast and furious at the lins house...Benjamin has transitioned out of his time at FPC Norfolk, and he is currently in the candidating process with a handful of other churches. We have been traveling quite a bit to various locations to scope out our prospects, enjoying the view from wherever our adventures take us. These past days have been full of life~ the good, the bad, and the ugly. It has been a roller coaster of packing, dreaming, saying bittersweet good-byes to amazing community, and preparing for a future that is still unclear. We are so grateful for the gift of time to figure this whole thing out!

Much to his chagrin, Simon has completed his year of preschool...he wakes us every day and asks in a hopeful voice "Mommy, is it a school day today?" SimonJay has become an avid biker, and we have spent many an evening chasing after a flash of training wheels streaking just out of our reach. He has been enjoying play dates galore, with warm and sunny trips to the beach and the new neighborhood playground.

Miss Josie is much changed since my last post. Jos is not only walking, she is climbing on everything she possibly can. She is talking, more babbling, and feels quite free to express her opinions to the rest of the free world. And, as my mother said "You can almost see the hair growing on her head." Josie is in that superfun stage where every moment of every day filled with so much discovery, and it's totally cool to witness that in her.
