This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with grandma and grandpa and crew in Rehobeth Beach DE. Mild weather made it possibly to enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk where we noticed few signs of damage caused by tropical storm Sandy. On Saturday we took the Cape May-Lewes ferry to New Jersey. High winds added an element of adventure to the ferry ride. I am happy to report that the family does not appear to be susceptible to sea sickness. We then stopped and visited Pole Tavern, the town where Benjamin lived until he was nine years old. It wasn't quite as large as he remembered it, but isn't that often the case for such things? It makes me wonder what these years in Lock Haven will look like in Simon and Josie's memories.
