After a long year of waiting for the day when she would finally be old enough to join scouts, Josie has become a Daisy. Here is a shot of her receiving her official pin after reciting the girl scout pledge. The troupe did a candlelight induction ceremony for the incoming scouts. She has a wonderful troupe leader and she is super excited about earning patches. While things have really changed about scouts since I was a little girl, it's interesting that much has stayed the same.
