Miss Josie graduated from Acorn School last Thursday. Aunt Rachel was in town for a visit so she was able to join in this grand occasion. The ceremony consisted of a performance of favorite class songs, a cap and diploma portion complete with Pomp and Circumstance, and there were even class awards for all the students. Josie received the singing award and continues to be very honored by this special notation. After the ceremony there was a lovely reception for the children and their families. Our entire family will miss being a part of this special community and it is a bittersweet time as we bid Acorn school adieu and look to the not-so-distant future... kindergarten!
