We traveled to the seaside town of Lewes DE this Friday to participate in Chris and Esther's marriage celebration. Esther (of course) was a stunning bride and, quite frankly, our now-uncle Chris hit the jackpot.
Josie had the honor of being the flower girl in the wedding party. We weren't quite sure what was going to happen as she walked down that aisle with a basket of flowers in her hand. However, Josie rose to the occasion and completed her task with aplomb.
Benjamin officiated the ceremony at East Gate Presbyterian Church, where his father served as pastor for many years. The entire wedding party was comprised of family members. It was a very touching experience overall.
Chris and Esther had the incredible foresight to book a large oceanfront property for their reception. The location was stunning (both inside and out) and it was terribly convenient to be lodging in the same space as the reception was held. Our family felt rejuvenated as we enjoyed the ocean view from the upper porch with aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
I only have a limited smattering of pics at this time but hope to get my hands on some more when their friend and wedding photographer posts more.
