The last few days the place we called home was a rustic log cabin tucked back in a grove of pine trees. The Black Moshannon State Park has a nice designated swimming area with a sand beach on the lake. Simon and Josie couldn't get enough of the water. Yesterday all four of us crammed into a pedal boat for some laughs and we hiked IN a creek for hours. All this for $35/night? Yes, please! Seeing as the kids begged to buy the cabin and make it our new permanent residence, I have a feeling we'll be back to visit in the future...
