It seems we have officially entered the "Star Wars" phase of childhood. Simon adores his Star Wars Legos game on the Wii and we have watched Episodes I, IV, V, and VI as a family. Josie often refers to herself as Princess Leia and Simon as 'Duke Skywalker.' It is totally amusing to see these films again and watch the kids discover the movie magic for themselves.

Tonight while daddy and Simon were horsing around, in the passion of the moment mind you, Simon declared to Benjamin that he was preparing to administer a 'rebel booty slap' in order to defend his honor as a jedi knight. Apparently a rebel booty slap is when a good guy has the right to smack his father on the butt in defense of any dignity threatened.

Hmmm.
