Halloween sort of encompassed the whole weekend this year. On Friday night we attended the Fall Festival with Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of the church. Saturday afternoon simon and I ventured out to a great costume party, and at long last came trick or treating with the added fun of a fun (candy-filled) parade.

As always, Simon was a living creature~ this year he chose to be a bat. Josie chose "Princess Snow White." Next year, hopefully she will choose something more along the lines of "Princess Simone de Beauvoir," "Queen Virginia Woolf" or "Duchess Gloria Steinem." It is what it is for now.

Also, I am happy to report that the whole "peanut thing" for Josie went really well. This smattering of shots are some of my favs taken throughout the weekend. Gotta love the shot with the kids going over their spoils of war... simon's face says "please mommy, don't throw it away. Please?!?!!?!"
