Whoever would have thought that a purple-striped tankini would be my outfit of choice this new year's day?! Today the family met up with a fun set of local folks by the banks of the west branch of the susquehanna river for the second annual new year's day polar bear swim event. I dipped with 12 other brave (read:crazy) souls. It was really, really, really cold. And wonderful.
I highly recommend it to anyone who gets the chance, I haven't been that wide awake in a long time :)
