This week has been packed! After celebrating Benjamin's 33rd birthday in style (homemade pesto pizza) and a wonderful Thanksgiving at Mutti and Pappap's place, this morning the fam went to visit Clyde Peeling's Reptiland.
Simon was in little boy heaven. He couldn't get enough of the full-grown alligators, crocs, mambas and various other deadly snakes, lizards, frogs, tortoises, the list goes on... Simon has such a high interest in animal life; it was fascinating to hear the kinds of questions he asked and observations he made about all things slimy.
While there we had the fortunate opportunity to touch a baby alligator and a boa constrictor. Josie actually spoke (screamed) one of her first complex sentences during the presentation: "I WANNA TOUCH THE DINO!!" However, as you can see from the picture, whenever she had her chance to touch, she simply glared at the zoo keeper with this look that said "Lady, are you completely out of your mind?!? I am NOT going to touch THAT THING."
