After a bittersweet goodbye to many wonderful folks in Norfolk, we headed to the Yough Lake cottage in the PA Laural Highlands for a week.
A highlight was snagging some precious time with the Koerber family and meeting their latest addition, Norah Grace. Watching the three boys embody rowdiness was pretty exciting...the belly bumping/wrestling/tickle-monstering that dominated our indoor time was rather entertaining.
Simon enjoyed his first experience tubing off of the speedboat and catching bluegill with daddy, Josie loved swimming in the lake and driving the boat with Pappap, and we all enjoyed a family bike ride on the Ohiopyle portion of rails to trails.
The downside is that I may be losing my outdoor edge. During our final few hours there I spotted a good size black race snake right outside the kitchen door. Honestly, it gave me the willies. Yee gads, it still does!
